After a debate over the Notre Dame which spanned for months, the decision was made by French national heritage and architectural commission to rebuild Notre Dame cathedral to “how it was before” after being destroyed in fire last year.
This video takes us to the National Monument laboratory where scientists are analysing the damaged stones and stained-glass windows. You then see carpenters from Normandy create the copy of the famous wooden roof structure.
