The EU countries’ Ministers of Culture and European affairs gathered this Friday 3 May at an informal meeting of peers in Paris. Hot topics at the meeting included plans to better preserve European heritage, for example with a Cooperation network of European experts, youth involvement and updates to the current models for EU funds for cultural heritage.
Happening shortly after the catastrophic event of the Notre-Dame in Paris, speakers expressed their solidarity with the French.
The meeting was closed with a joint declaration.
