French President Emmanuel Macron has called for a European wide “cooperation mechanism” where countries work together and share resources and knowledge to prevent damages to high-risk locations in the future. The call is a reaction to all the help which was offered by institutions and governments thourghout the continent.
The initiative comes after the Notre-Dame fire and is to be set in motion with a gathering of ministers of culture and European affairs in Paris on 3 May.
