The Open Heritage project has released its third Policy Brief: Financing the Adaptive Reuse of Cultural Heritage: Enabling Complementary Financing Instruments for Bottom-up Initiatives.

Financing the adaptive reuse of cultural heritage is a challenging undertaking. With its third Policy Brief, OpenHeritage hopes to “inspire public and private actors to embrace mixed approaches by providing examples of different financing models as well as clear and applicable recommendations for their implementation”.

OpenHeritage identifies and tests the best practices of adaptive reuse of cultural heritage in Europe. The project has received funding from the EU’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme.
