The historic stock exchange building will be reopened as a Beer Museum showcasing over 100 different types of Belgian beers in 2023.

“It’s not just about beers, it is also about bringing people together,” said Sven Gatz, Brussels Minister for the Image of Brussels, reports Bruzz. He hopes that the museum would capture the essence of tradition and diversity in the country.

In the first time in the building’s history, 12,000 square metres of its space will be used. The lower floors and the large hall will be converted into public spaces for events and the main attraction of the museum would be the beer experience centre: Belgian Beer World.

The likes of Brussels Beerstorming brewery, Brasserie De La Senne and Brussels Beer Project, have announced their participation in the project.
