Latvia to use EU funding to restore three cultural monuments in Riga

With the help of the funding, Latvian government is set to restore Dailes Theatre square, Latvian Riflemen Square and the Large Guild Building.

The plans to also ensure creation of new functions of the heritage buildings and their integration into the local economic structure to make them economically independent institution.

The primary goal of the restorations is preservation of cultural and natural heritage. The municipality and state company State Real Estate of Riga are responsible for the projects.
