Graffiti-removing laser donated to volunteer organisation
Italian cities have always seen a large amount of vandalism on their historic buildings in the form of graffiti. Often, names and dates written by tourists to commemorate a visit. The company El.En Group from Tuscany has developed a handheld laser, which removes the graffiti without damaging the underlying surface. It has donated one of these devices to a volunteerorganisation called the Angels of Beauty.
El.En Group dontated the laser to the “Angeli del Bello” foundation (the Angels of Beauty), who clean and restore historical buildings in Italy. The laser can also be used to clean sculptures and other historical surfaces.
