Georgia certifies two new Cultural Routes

The Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of Georgia and the National Tourism Administration of Georgia signed a Memorandum in order to promote and develop cultural tourism on the 18th of June.

The Memorandum was supporting and developing of the Cultural Routes of the Council of Europe Programme in Georgia, the planning and implementation of joint projects in the field of cultural tourism as well as integration of popular tourist destinations into Cultural Routes.

In the same event a mobile app called “Cultural Routes of Georgia” was released. Domestic tourism has opened in Georgia since June 15th.
