Georgia signs Memorandum of Understanding on Promotion of the Cultural Routes of the Council of Europe

This Memorandum of Understanding will ensure cooperation between the Georgian cultural institutions and Cultural Routes.

It was signed by the Minister of Education, Science, Culture and President of National Association of Local Authorities on the 24th of February. The cooperation signed will ensure:

  1. Raising Public Awareness on culture
  2. Development of Cultural Routes as an organisation
  3. Training local government officials in the field of Cultural Management
  4. Involvement of local governing units in planning and implementation of activities of Cultural Tourism
  5. Fostering international partnerships with respect initiatives for Cultural Tourism
