Ten cities have been shortlisted for the European Capital of Smart Tourism competition:
Bratislava (Slovakia), Breda (The Netherlands), Bremerhaven (Germany), Gothenburg (Sweden), Karlsruhe (Germany), Ljubljana (Slovenia), Málaga (Spain), Nice (France), Ravenna (Italy) and Torino (Italy).
The ten shortlisted cities excel in the competition’s four categories: accessibility, sustainability, digitalisation and cultural heritage and creativity. On 8 October, two cities will be awarded the title of European Capital of Smart Tourism 2020.
