RUINS project presented end results during final event in Zadar

The RUINS project, supported by the Interreg Central Europe programme, presented its end results during its final event ‘How to preserve medieval heritage’ on 4 September 2020 in Zadar.

The RUINS project started on 1 June 2017 and will end on 30 September 2020. The RUINS project’s aim was to give new functions to medieval ruins in Central Europe, while preserving the historical values of these heritage sites. Based on best practices, the project developed and disseminated management guidelines for medieval ruins in Central Europe.

Ten partners from six countries – Croatia, Czech Republic, Poland, Slovakia, Slovenia and Italy – took part in the project. The lead partner of the project was the Lublin University of Technology in Poland.
