The EU study focuses on disaster risk for cultural heritage in wake of destruction of heritage structures in Zagreb, Croatia on 20th of March 2020 and Notre Dame, Paris in 2019.
It is a study in line with the Sendai Framework for Disaster Risk Reduction formulated in the global context for the same reason. It is intended to be a helpful document for policymakers to to decide a plan of action to safeguard cultural heritage in times of natural and man-made disasters.
