The inDICEs project is developing a methodology to evaluate effects of digitisation of cultural heritage. The growing collections of digitised data have opened opportunities for citizens and creative industries, yet economical and societal benefits are not always immediately obvious.
inDICEs aims to empower cultural and creative industries, policy-makers and decision-makers to fully understand the social and economic impact of digitisation of cultural heritage. The project invites cultural heritage professionals to take an active role in identifying the regulatory frameworks and new business models that enhance the circulation and creative use of cultural heritage.
InDICEs ‘Measuring the impact DIgital CulturE’ is a project funded under Horizon 2020 DT Governance call programme. The project aims to address the changes in the cultural creatives industries (CCI) by empowering policymakers and decision-makers to fully understand the social and economic impact of digitisation in their sectors.
inDICEs is funded under the European Union’s Horizon 2020 Framework Programme for Research and Innovation.
