Culture Action Europe wrote a joint letter on the 20th of March, 2020 to Directorate General for Education, Youth, Sport and Culture (DG EAC) presenting proposals for coping with the consequences of the pandemic on cultural and creative sectors.
The main measures proposed were concerned with flexibility of cultural events, for example postponing instead of cancellation and extension of eligibility of tickets for visiting cultural sites or events and economic support.
