The European Manifesto welcomed the immediate response provided by European Commission on the 13th of March.
Some of the most notable measures proposed for mitigation of economic devastation of the sector were: temporary state aid for tourism and travel sector, protection from loss of income and unemployment and support to self employed and easy access to short/ medium term loans to combat liquidity shortages.
