The European Heritage Days (EHD) have launched the 2019 edition of European Heritage Stories where participants are inspired to create and share stories about local heritage. The aim of the project is to keep local narratives alive. The winners will be able to convert their story into a specific project.
The 2019 edition is a renewal of last year’s success and calls for everyone with an inspiring story about the European dimension of local heritage to share it to the EHD’s online portal. The call is open until 18 April 2019.
European Heritage Stories
The most important aspect of heritage has always been related to the people creating, living, sharing and protecting it. For centuries, cultural heritage has bridged the gaps between generations and nations all over Europe. In order to honour the communities and individuals that kept the heritage alive and available for many generations to explore, European Year of Cultural Heritage 2018 celebrations launched initiative that is continuing to inspire creation of European Heritage Stories edition for the 2019.
