Home to over 200 underwater archeological sites, Split-Dalmatia County offers a new travel guide to 28 marine archaeological sites and three museums with collections showcasing archaeological findings.
The tour is divided into five geographical regions: the waters of Split and the Bay of Kastela, the waters of Brac island, the waters of Hvar island, the waters of Vis and Palagruza islands. The sites include shipwrecks from various wars including the World War II. The tour will attract not only tourists but also encourage its conservation, hopes county prefect Blazenko Boban.
