Big update for Flanders’ (BE) public built heritage database

In May, the ‘Agentschap Onroerend Erfgoed’ (Immovable Heritage Agency) of Flanders has launched a new version of its Heritage Inventory. The inventory provides an overview of valuable heritage in the¬†Dutch-speaking northern portion of¬†Belgium, including archaeological, architectural, landscape, and even nautical heritage. The database accounts for more than 90,000 objects. The inventory was not only given a new look. It also underwent changes in terms of content to benefit accessibility, ease of use and management.
